I was about to start it last month, but I had decided that I would branch the story at least in 5 different directions so that I could show more of a specific character and give more of a backstory to them. Like why Kioku is built the way he is, or why Aki has trust issues, or how Kumo got that scar of his, and more about Kale in general.
Either way, I have far more to work on, I never realized that it would be a mountain of twists and turns and all, but I have much more to do before developing the comic.

Second, Momento Mori... I am working on that, however. I'll be making a new blog for it, and finally giving more details that before. Since it's not in a futuristic setting, the details are nothing to worry about. All I have to work on is more concept art, mainly of side characters and the structures of the town and so on. But, there are certain themes of abuse that are present throughout the story. I would like to just make this absolutely clear: non of the events in the story are based on my own personal experiences. The only things that are remotely close to my own life are the paranormal moments, the stuff with the ghosts. I'm not glorifying it either, it might not even be shown. Just making that clear.

As for my hiatus. I don't honestly know if I can stay here anymore. I try to post my art here, but I feel that it's not the same as before, somehow. Though, I did have a lot more people seeing my art, and wanting to converse with me here, rather than on Tumblr.
I am still so unsure about things, but I may return.
With all of the things happening lately, I've found myself diving into depression again. Although, on the way down, I found some pretty good ways to capture that specific glint in a character's eye, or that broken down and run over look in their facial expression. Though, this doesn't seem to help me when drawing my own characters.
But, that's a story for another day.
